Why redbull makes such odd capacities for their bigger cans? Are they the same "design" as imperial units or what?

just buy the redbull 4 pack , its only 5€ here

Have you tried the yellow edition? Might seem a lot more "ironic" given the "it's made of bull piss!!!" assertion, but a good citrus drink nonetheless (excuse the duster):
