MGS:TPP interrogation tips not showing on map

I'm playing Metal Gear Solid: The Phtantom Pain and whenever I interrogate a guard they will say something like "There is a stash of raw diamonds" or "Our specialist is posted here" and then it says "Map Updated" on my screen, but when I check my map there isn't any new marker. What is the marker supposed to look like? This is pretty frustrating

I'm guessing you've already figured it out but for future reference to anyone else that sees this: when you interrogate someone and they mention diamonds or materials that will show up as a white check mark on the map, specialists or other enemies of interest show up as a red triangle with a yellow dot in to, weapon emplacements should show up as white squares and unoccupied vehicles should be white circles.

I've found the check marks, thank you. Usually the operatives don't show up for me though! They have once or twice before but not always
