low fps?

so i have an alienware m18x r2 while playing cs go on 1080p and high settings.x4 msaa my fps goes around 70-120 fps is that normal because i have a dual 7970m it should give me more fps

Max settings? Not sure - the 7970m is a desktop 7870 more or less. Not sure if normal but 120 fps seems okay to me.

You're already playing on 1080p and you have it on high settings? I have a 970 and still play on all low on 1080p.

Could be a Thermal limit set by Alienware? I know their lappys are iffy.

Don't doubt it. I just prefer the way it looks without all the extra effects.

Alienware are dumb - their CPUs thermalthrottle @ 80*C instead of the intel setting of 95*C

how about medion - their gaming laptops sound like a jet engine, produce heat like a jet engine, and move air like a jet engine. (people needed to hold their papers in class...)

Maybe the thermal paste is gone on the CPU and it's causing your games to be throttled as shit?
