I'm not sure what you're referring to. Are you talking about the extra connectors that go into the card or the slot itself?

Does it not have a connector, if not then it doesn't require more power than what the motherboard gives and you don't need to connect it.

 

I thought it was obvious that if there wasn't a connector then it didn't need to be connected..
