Data Migration Software

Go to solution Solved by Enderman,

you should do a clean install...not migration...

I am looking for any recommendations for a data migration software.

I just bought another SSD and will be putting my two SSD's in RAID0 as a boot drive, however I need to move my C: drive to a temporary hard drive so I can configure the RAID. Once the RAID setup is configured I will move the info back to the (now two) SSDs.

Anyone have any good options for software? I have Samsung Data Migration, that I have used in the past, but it doesn't want to move the data from a Samsung drive to a WD drive lol.

Thanks in advance.

How much of a pain in the ass is that with W10?

I have never done a clean install with an existing windows key before.

mmm yeah, i cant do alot for you, i applied my backup to W7 since i had MB driver issues

Hmm Yeah. I am already on W10, and I could wipe everything off my drives but I'm having trouble finding anything about reinstalling W10, instead of the upgrade.

@Enderman You were right. I decided to do a clean install, I hope I did it right lol. I'm using my back up machine for to post this.

I had to update my MoBo Bios in order to get to the intel raid screen, weird . But right now W10 is installing on my fresh SSD raid array.

Thanks for the help.
