theres lots of signs a graphics card could show when dying, because theres lots of ways a graphics card can die.

- rattling noise from the fan if the bearings are wearing out

- artefacts

- graphical errors in game

- flickering of the image

- screwed up colors if the connectors are wearing out. (we had this one happen in class, teacher taught the entire class using a pink powerpoint)

Will keep an eye out for that, thanks..

I ran a stress test on Kombuster, i got about  a minute in, then my whole PC crashed, what does that mean?

it might be overheating, check temps.

Kombustor is a GPU core burner, your shit shutdown due to overheating.

Replace Thermal paste and don't use a core burner...

PEWDIEPIE DONT CROSS THAT BRIDGE

Heres an example of why you dont use core burners, it will use ALL power allocated to the GPU.

Heres my 150% bios, aka 400watts.

I see.. is there any good programs that can give me back the condition of my GPU? Like health wise? I cant seem to find anything like it!

Good PSU choice. I would try the simple things such as reseating the graphics card in the motherboard, and the same for the power connectors.

Hey everyone..

Could anyone tell me what the signs of a dying graphics card are? I have a feeling mine is, but maybe its just a driver issue or is getting outdated.

Give it one final kiss before you lay it to rest....then upon the highest mountain/anthill bury it and place a headstone stating RIP Dreams

My AMD card runs at 40 degrees full load. I wouldnt let yours get over 75. Replace the thermal paste and clean the dust out of the fans and cooler while you have it apart

Will do.. I think it is dying though, tried running a low graphic demanding game in 800x600 on lowest settings and my PC crashed, i think its time for an upgrade..
