Which 970 to get

Hi,i have returned my EVGA sc 970 since it had coil whine,and now im between getting the g1 gaming or the msi version.I heard that the g1 is louder,but it can perform better since it can reach higher ocs.Im not really into overclocking,i may do a bit,price is the same for both,365 euros.

Pls dont say 390,i dont have the right psu for it

I say the MSi one, since it's got the best heatsink around, you can get coil whine on any of the cards as far as I can tell.

 

The MSi one is seriously quiet when you run a custom fan profile, it can handle a full gaming load while spinning at like 700 rpm.

Unless your planning on using a custom bios/watercooling or even ln2, there isn't much difference between them all except the entry cards which are cheap as chips.

 

Try get one which has good reviews and fits into your case's colour/theme and of course make sure it fits

g1 gaming or maybe get back evga one because evga's tend to be very good too.

I would like to know from people who had these cards,im really confused tight now and dont know what to pick

i had the asus strix 970, not a good overclocker not a good cooler under load it is quite loud.

If it was on the right price, I'd get a HoF 970.
