POST TEST

i tried to post test a watercooled card dry for less than 10 seconds a pop . 

no screen but not the first time .... i had a r7 250 that wouldnt post on this machine

 

its a dell xps 8300 is the mobo and bios incompatible with newer cards

 

 

i know omggg you tried to post a card without the cooling

 

 

it can cool to a certain extent by its self i just need help figuring out the problem

This is true. It will last about 30 seconds before killing itself. If it did not post then there is another issue. Be careful since the PC won't automatically shut down if the card gets too hot. Update the bios if possible? Try a different slot? Might just be out of luck.

oonly one 16x  and the card didnt do anything i might try and see if i can take it to a pc shop and have it fully tested

Make sure you have your monitor inputs correct and such.

i do i just think my old drivers or something are stopping it from posting idk
