First pc build

calebw0103

This is my first build I have posted many topics about parts lists and all of it has changed. My final build consists of an amd a8 7650k, 8gb of ram, 2 gtx 670 4gb, Msi a88x-g45 motherboard, a Wd black 1tb hard drive, a cooler master 650m, all in a corsair spec-02. Got all my parts from Fry's electronics and the 2 670s from a craigslist guy. In total it all costed around $850.

Why did you get an APU if you bought a dual 670's? You could've gotten a FX-6300/6350 or an i3-4160 for the same budget basically in terms of the CPU

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT 16GB GDDR6 Motherboard: MSI PRESTIGE X570 CREATION
AIO: Corsair H150i Pro RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 32GB 3600MHz DDR4 Case: Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic PSU: Corsair RM850x White

Wouldn't this be posted in Build Logs?

*ahem*.. mods...

Still a nice looking build. You did what you could to hide those absolutely horrid-looking cables. I also like how you chose a mobo that hides all of the traces and doesn't have any random obtrusive colours. However, I don't understand the choice of an APU if you had bought 2 external GPUs. You could have gotten a much more powerful CPU for the same price.
