 So, for anyone who doesn't know a lot on the matter - the full moon in September is called "Harvest Moon" and that in October is called "Hunter's Moon". Here is a tribute to that from me - It was finalized October last year :)

Fall

Under the harvest moon,
slowly embracing the noon.
Memories of the distant June,
fade before the coming monsoon.

Wind gusting over the hills,
bringing the midnight chills,
turning the hollowed mills,
arousing newfound thrills.

Rain falls and with it I lay,
amidst grass golden and stones grey.
I sit there alone and I pray,
the ghosts of the past get... washed away.

Under the hunter's moon,
slowly embracing the noon.
Everything will slowly attune,
nothing is forever immune.

Lying on the ground, barely awake,
suddenly feel the warmth of light opaque.
I turn and I watch as the dawn makes its break,
leaving me alone, to linger in its wake.

I went to my backyard with a small basket to pick some tomatoes, realized there were way too many to fit in one basket, so I grabbed a bucket.

They're all in freezer bags in the freezer so I don't have to buy as many tomatoes throughout the winter.

Well - not exactly - September is the month when "Harvest" would happen - as in all the grain and such was gathered around that time and tucked away for the long (back then loooong) winter.
