Best Possible $500 Mini ITX Build

RyanMacRocks

Hi guys, I am planning on selling my current PC to a friend in a few months and want your guy's opinion on the best PC I could build for $500. I would prefer Mini ITX as I would be taking this to friend's houses every once in a while. It will be for gaming, web browsing, and maybe livestreaming. I would prefer at least a i5 4460 for the processor so I have enough power to run GTA V at medium settings and be able to livestream CS:GO at 720p60 at high settings. Graphics card is up to you guys, I don't need too much GPU power, maybe something like a 750 Ti or maybe 260X (as long as it's not bottlenecking the CPU).

PS: I already have the RAM (8 GB) and storage (120 GB 840 EVO and 250 GB WD Drive) so that should give some more money towards the CPU and GPU.

Main PC: i5 4590 @ 3.5 GHz ♦ RX 480 Armor OC ♦ 16 GB DDR3 ♦ GA-Z97-HD3 ♦ 120 GB 840 EVO ♦ 120 GB Intel 520 ♦ W10 Home

Scrapyard PC: Xeon X5460 @ 3.8 GHz ♦ HD 7870 ♦ 8 GB DDR2 ♦ GA-P35-DS3L ♦ 80 GB Intel 320 ♦ 160 GB WD Caviar SE ♦ W10 Home

my build :P edit: actually most things are place holders, forget what I said.

If one does not fail at times, then one has not challenged himself.

Thanks, I'll probably go with something like this, do you think the extra 300 MHz clock on the 4590 would be worth it over the 4460?

no, there wont be any difference because then you'd have to spend on a h97 motherboard jumping up the price even more

I don't think you need a h97 board for the 4590..

Sorry for the really late reply, but would a H81 board work with 4460/4590/4690 if I did a BIOS update using a Pentium G3420 and then put the new CPU in?
