Posted September 3, 2015 I play CSGO rather competitively and after playing on a friend's monitor i've noticed that the monitor i have is not the best one i can have. I have tried to do some research to see what would be the best one to get but it is a lot of information and would rather someone just give me a recommendation. I am open to all sizes of monitors as long as it is 1920-1080p

Posted September 3, 2015 I would say just a 24 inch one with 2 or 1ms. If you have money a 144hz one would be even better SetupCPU: i3 4160|Motherboard: MSI Z97 PC MATE|RAM: Kingston HyperX Blue 8GB(2x4GB)|GPU: Sapphire Nitro R9 380 4GB|PSU: Seasonic M12II EVO 620W Modular|Storage: 1TB WD Blue|Case: NZXT S340 Black|PCIe devices: TP-Link WDN4800| Montior: ASUS VE247H| Others: PS3/PS4
 Posted September 3, 2015 depending on how serious you are you may want a 27 inch at 1080p. I am not saying it's the most ethical thing on earth but sometimes being able to see pixels can come in handy with that game. BenQ has a really nice 27 inch...xl 2720 z I belive...they also make a 24 inch verion of that same monitor.
 Posted September 3, 2015 If you want to get into competitive CSGO you NEED a 144hz monitor so I'd start there. A really good option that has stuff like black equalizer and digital vibrance built in is the BenQ xl2430T, it's an awesome option and the choice of a lot of pro players and CSGO tournaments <p>Mobo - Asus P9X79 LE ----------- CPU - I7 4930K @ 4.4GHz ------ COOLER - Custom Loop ---------- GPU - R9 290X Crossfire ---------- Ram - 8GB Corsair Vengence Pro @ 1866 --- SSD - Samsung 840 Pro 128GB ------ PSU - Corsair AX 860i ----- Case - Corsair 900D
 Posted September 3, 2015 quite alot of people play at 1024x768 stretched (I dont do it) This makes the bodies and stuff bigger, so its easier to shoot them on stretched it also makes peeks seem faster. trade offs. many pro's go that big for a certain reason....think about it. almost every pro uses a 24 inch monitor. every single major LAN event uses 24 inch monitors aswell. stop spewing false info. That's only the oldschool 1.6 players who play stretched or 4:3 and even then many have started to transition to 16:9 and native res. Many pros still play at 4:3, both black bar and stretched. theres actually only a handful right now who use 16:9, namely shroud. And there is a reason ALL the tournaments run 24" monitors... why would a pro even get such a big monitor, it decreases reaction time as theres more things being displayed on the screen so spot on reply.
