a few days ago i was having problems with razer synapse. the only way to get it to work was to set its compatibility settings from windows 7 to windows xp.

after doing that, everything on my desktop switched to XP compatibility and since then my computer has been extremely slow. i mean SLOW! programs take forever to start, opening up program pages from my explorer bar causes the program to fail, explorer fails often, and even typing in web addresses takes a while.

did i just break my pc?

Go back to normal, and uninstall anything from Razer, that's cancer right there.

Download MalwareBytes and run a scan, or delete that razer POS
