Hey guys, if anyone knows of any mSata SSD's that they are sure work in a Raid array, could you refer me to them? And if anyone knows specifically if the Mushkin Enhanced Atlas Series mSata SSD's work, an answer would be greatly appreciated for that too. Thanks.

I imagine any m-sata ssd would go well in a raid array. My preference for m-sata is the plextor m5m, but that is me.

Which RAID controller? Mobo? If using the onboard Intel RAID - some only can "see" the main SATA ports and not the mSATA port. Check the specs on the board to make sure it is supported. Otherwise, should work.

Yes it will work. Don't know of any motherboards with 2 msata slots though. Only heard of the MSI gaming laptops having 2 msata ssd's in raid 0.

The MSI laptop uses Mushkin and and personally have a single Mushkin msata ssd and it works amazing.

Oh yes it doesn't have two msata slots. That was the other thing I was wondering about. Can you do Raid between a msata ssd and a sata ssd? And I'm not sure of any of the components really because I'm just playing with the idea of taking a laptop that has a regular drive and then an msata cache on the side, but replacing those with the msata and sata ssd. At this point it's just an idea.

LIke @Whaler_99 said, it may not notice the mSATA port if it is an Intel controller. If so, then you may not be able to RAID an mSATA SSD and a SATA SSD.
