Would my rig cut it for oculus at home?

The BBQ: i7-4770 / 212x / Tri-X R9 290x 1075/1400 / MSI H87-G43 GAMING / EVGA G2 850W / Corsair Spec 03 / Samsung 840 EVO 250gb SSD / Toshiba 2TB HDD / 8gb Kingston DDR3 1600mhz

Peripherals: G710+ / G502 / Bose Companion 2 Series III / Audio Technica ATH-M40x / Sound Magic E50

Monitors: Dell U2414H

Ideally you'd want to be running at 1440p at higher Hz so I'd be looking at upgrading.

I'm not a PC. You should be looking at 50+ thats all I can say for sure. 3DMark is better for telling you if you can run it.

Heres a benchmark I did, and that should give you a general idea on how well a PC would be compared to a rig that can do a Oculus well http://www.3dmark.com/fs/5830319
