I've been doing lots of research but any tips from more experienced builders would be more than welcome. I plan to use the PC exclusively for gaming (1080p) and am going for best bang for buck performance, while leaving my options open for overclocking and SLI in the future. Thanks for the help!

I would go with gtx 970 if you want best "bang for the buck" if you have the extra cash

If this is out of your budget, reomve the ssd and the cpu cooler.
