Posted August 30, 2015 Hey I was wondering if i should get an 4k or a 1080p TV. I have a Budget of about 1.000$. I would potentiality play games on it but it would be just casual so the frame rate wouldn't matter. I would watch a lot of movies and videos on it so the picture quality should be nice too. I just don't know which one. I would be very thankful if you knew a good TV that I should buy. I'm just looking for a good TV overall and the best I can get with my money. Thanks already
Posted August 30, 2015 I would personally go with 1080p because at the $1,000 price point 4k is more about the marketing than anything else. if you want a quality 4k TV you would have to spend more. Posted August 30, 2015 If you are going with 1080p, i suggest you look at some true 120hz TV`s. http://www.avsforum.com/forum/166-lcd-flat-panel-displays/1438092-list-hdtv-s-120hz-native-refresh-ability-forcing-1080p-120hz-via-dvi-hdmi-computer.html I believe this 1k EUR plasma is capable of real 120hz too. Not to mention - plasma is awesome. http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B007FNIGA6?keywords=Panasonic%20VT50&qid=1440964131&ref_=sr_1_1&sr=8-1 Regardless of the framerate in games - 120hz will just make everything you do on it more comfortable.
