Integrated graphics for multiple 4k? That's almost impossible... Get the i3 with a good graphics card (and I mean a VERY good graaphics card)

Depends what you want to do with it. Intel HD Graphics will easily handle triple 4K monitors if all you're going to do is write word documents and look up pictures of cats.

Overall, the 7870K is better as a whole, but if you're not going to put it's GPU power advantage to use, there's no reason to get it over the i3. You can get an Athlon 860K though, which is basically an A10 without a GPU, since you're using a dedicated one, and save some money.

Is the Athlon 860k any good. Man that price is attractive. $75 on amazon is a hell of a deal. Will it be a decent multi tasking cpu?

Agreed. I will need something with integrated graphics for a short time before I get my graphics card. So probably won't work.

It's basically a 7870K without a GPU. If you need a temporary solution, it's still cheaper to buy a 860K + the cheapest graphics card you can find.

EDIT:

It is really easy to OC these chips. When OCd to around 4.4 to 4.6GHz the single core performance hits around 120 and the multi core performance hits 370-385 in Cinebench R15

 

Intel HD Graphics will gladly handle 4K streaming, as long as you have enough internet bandwidth for it.

As will any APU... i know, cuz i own a APU setup

 

Hell, the APU does even Netflix 4k just fine...

Do not get a Nvidia card for this, get a AMD card for the monitors. The reason is Eyefinity... Simply put, when setting up these monitors and adjusting the image for the bezel and stuff then Eyefinity is just a godsent gift. it is WAY more flexible then Nvidia Surround, and really easy to set up.
