  1. I am on a budget build and think I will go Team Red. I know Intel is better, but want your thoughts on the best sub $100 AMD Cpu/APU for a HTPC/Workstation. Thanks.
  2. Looks like it is happening!!!! http://techreport.com/news/28957/the-skylake-core-i3-6320-is-the-gamer-new-best-friend
  3. Sorry to hear that. There are sub $100 z170 mobo's here in the US. I hope they can drop in price and get to you soon.
  4. As am I. Ready to pull the trigger on a i3 4170 but waiting to see if the new gen comes out tonight.
  5. So rumor is that Intel will release more Skylake cpu's today at 9pm pdt. http://wccftech.com/intel-skylake-s-mainstream-desktop-processor-lineup-launching-september-1/
  6. Cant find a motherboard that will allow me dual monitors with 4k @ 60hz. Have to go with a GPU. The iGPU will be great until I can afford the 950.
  7. I am going to have dual 4k monitors and the 950 can provide me that @60hz.
  8. So this is for a non-gaming, normal workstation for browsing and videos in 4k. I will add a EVGA GeForce GTX 950 for graphics punch. Want to make sure I have a cpu to drive this gpu. For a workstation setup, which is the best preformance for the price. And these are the only two I am considering so keep comments to these two please.
  9. I get that but DDR4 is almost the same now as DDR3 and I have found a good amount of MB under $120. The prices are dropping.
  10. @Swndlr I don't blame you. I am doing a fresh build so I can wait to see. i know the term "future proof" is taboo here but for a fresh build might as well get the latest and greatest. Just don't want to spend $240 for the latest.
  11. Only planning on having 2 4k monitors. The SSC model has 3 display and 1 cdmi 2.0. I just want to make sure that I have a cpu that can power it without lag. Display 1.2 can push 4k at 60hz.
