how much watts do i need?

Go to solution Solved by WoodenMarker,

thanks for the answer i got the 8320 really cheap and it was still in the box not open i read on some forums after i got my cpu that its not a problem to run 2 280x but i guess 1 will do just fine just 1 last thing will an FSP Raider 650w do for this a single 280x and overclocked 8320?

It's a bit overkill. A decent 550w is already more than enough.

850W.

I'd recommend maybe a 850W Supply :D. I think 750w would do but i'd recommend 850w for a bit of security/headroom too.

Get a G2 Supernova, i have one and it does the job beautifully.

for 8300 CPU + 2x 280X I'd say 800-850W. if it were an intel CPU, then 700W would be enough but yeah.

hi i have an fx 8320 and i want to overclock it but im going to get an r9 280x and was thinking of getting another one in the future and cf them so i want to know how much watts does my psu need to have so that i can overclock my procesor and run the 2 r9 280x in cf

Aside from mentioning bottlenecks you should go for 750 to 850W

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
