Will 91% isopropyl alcohol be sufficient enough to clean the thermal compound off a processor?

91% is perfect for cleaning up thermal paste.

As for @Darkman not so sure about you

It gets the job done... I've cleaned dozens of cpus and my 650ti along with my 480 with it.. Dried thermal paste is a real issue with 50% though... The 480 paste where it was glue was a pain cause of only 50%... But most of it was paper and I could grab it and tear it off. :P

Goo gone and then rubbing alcohol if its been there for a while. Goo gone works far better but it leaves an oily resedue. Thats when the alcohol helps.
