hay guys this is my current build http://pcpartpicker.com/p/hMb4WZ. I was needing some help with this and I feel I didn't give enough details on the last post. I'm building this computer for the simple reason of wanting to play video games. I'm going to do some video editing for youtube but not much. I want this to be able to run games such as rust, ark, witcher 3, dota 2' and csgo, at the max settings. I want to computer to last five years if possible. I'm also not sure about my choice in monitor I want to know if there is a better model for it, but I want the price under $500. If you can leave a link to pc builder when you make part suggestions. Also if there are any ways to save money with this build let me know. Thanks guys for the help.

What resolution are you going for?

“When life gives you lemons, don’t make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don’t want your damn lemons, what the hell am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life’s manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? I’m the man who’s gonna burn your house down! With the lemons! I’m gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!”

If you look at his build, he has a 1440p monitor. So I'm assuming OP wants 1440p gaming.

I noticed, I just wanted to confirm

Well, for that price, this is basically your only option:

Build, looks good to me. I'd spend some time color matching stuff as from the looks you want a white/ black build. Kingston offers some white 2x8 ram and look into a all black mobo,or a white/black one. Other then this everything looks very good.

what would be a good monitor if i diden't have to work with 500 bucks

Uh, for that resolution and refresh rate, not going to happen. However, if you don't NEED that, go for a 144hz 1080p panel, such as this one:
