Fury Nano

Arc_Jester

meh.. I guess if you want a baller htpc its cool but with the cases on the market you can easly build an HTPC with a full size card.  I can only see this being a nesh product unless its like $350 and blows the socks off the 970

I don't really see the point. Wouldn't the 970 ITX GPU's fare better?

I believe they're pretty on par with Hawaii.

Vessel is pathetic IMO. I have the money if I wanted to subscribe, but it seems wrong to squeeze money out of people by offering videos early and delaying them for regular people. It would be fine, if they did not then spoil them with like asking, only to realise the videos they are spoiling are already on Vessel. It almost seems like a desperate money grab from LMG. Yes I know Vessel supported the new office, but their whole service is messed up IMO.

There's a bunch of other youtubers that release early and I actually watch them.So for me it's actually worth it but for the people who only watch a single channel such as LTT on vessel I have to agree with you and say its pathetic

Could you list channels relevant to tech/generally cool content please? If there is enough I MIGHT be persuaded, so far I only know of LTT and GMM.

Nano is supposedly faster than Hawaii which means it'll be faster than the 970 but with only a 25w higher TDP (than the 970). So it'll be interesting, IMO.

I don't think it'll be fast enough to justify the premium in price.

Most Fury cards are over $550. If this one is even $499, an ITX 970 is only $340.

It's a losing proposition.

I also find it pathetic they didn't bother saying what Hawaii card they're comparing it to.

Come on AMD.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I take AMD's super-vague FPS charts like the ones posted in this thread with a mountain of salt. I agree, if it doesn't perform high enough above the 970 for it's price, then that will harm it's success, for sure.

But if you want the most performance in the smallest package... this very well could be it.

I find it quite interesting, but I'm withholding further personal opinions until I actually see the reviews and real-world benchmarks. ;)

It needs to be priced right.  To me, they should just get rid of 390/390x and sell the nano at $450.  AMD really needs to boost their sales and this could be the solution.

CPU -AMD R5 2600X @ 4.15 GHz / RAM - 2x8Gb GSkill Ripjaws 3000 MHz/ MB- Asus Crosshair VII Hero X470/  GPU- MSI Gaming X GTX 1080/ CPU Cooler - Be Quiet! Dark Rock 3/ PSU - Seasonic G-series 550W/ Case - NZXT H440 (Black/Red)/ SSD - Crucial MX300 500GB/ Storage - WD Caviar Blue 1TB/ Keyboard - Corsair Vengeance K70 w/ Red switches/ Mouse - Logitech g900/ Display - 27" Benq GW2765 1440p display/ Audio - Sennheiser HD 558 and Logitech z323 speakers

It'd definitely be the smallest package, but it's only an inch and a half shorter than a 970 ITX.

Not only that but...the 970 doesn't hang over the motherboard. So. Is smaller really even of benefit? Not really. If the motherboard fits, so does the card.

I agree though, real world benchmarks are always the best to go by.

Lately those haven't exactly been in AMD's favor...

I liked the idea and gpu is hella cute but I don't see myself buying it. I'm more likely to get another 980ti hof if that was the case.

If the price is right I'll buy two and get rid of my overly long 290x which is preventing me from using my bottom HDD cage.

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.
