Tons of dust is what I think of it,

You'd just be putting useless amounts of air inside the case and probably disrupting any fan inside your PC.

A bit more ambitious idea, but how about setting up some kind of industrial extractor fan, to practically suck out any heat and extract it through some tubing, maybe outside your house?

I mean it won't look good but it'll work. I'd try cutting a hole in your side panel, mounting a 200mm fan and getting a dust filter for it. But if DIY isn't your thing then sure, it'll be dusty and loud but it'll work.

As for the dust, get some stockings from your mum (the really thin ones), pull it over the fan and screw in your fan. once screwed in, cut around the outside. Boom instant dust filter :) There is no point facing it at the motherboard, either aim for the cpu or go under the gpu blowing air to that. I guess if its on the side of the case it will be hitting the cpu.

If you are going to use some general house fan for it, don't. Those aren't nearly effective enough for PC hardware cooling or such close spaces that PC case. Many older style cases (and some NZXT cases) use 200mm-230mm sidepanel fans. Loud but give that little extra cooling. Funny enough, both me and my brother have big sidepanel fan. Mine is currently removed due heatsink hight restrictions (200mm), he has 230mm.
