Nice phone, I am not one for the buttons on the back though, that is kind of an odd place to put them.

That may be but I like that they are trying something new.

That is true, Sometimes something new isn't the best way to go,

Evolution, without it we would have been sitting on rocks right now or something  :P

SOMETIMES new things aren't good, mainly the buttons on the back of the device. :P

I've never tried buttons on the back, so I don't know if they're bad....

But it seems like I'd accidentally be pushing that power button if I have it set on a flat surface and push too hard on the screen. That said, I probably wouldn't set it on a flat surface to use it due to the significant bump that those buttons provide, which is another (smaller) problem for me, but I think there could be a better way to do them. Maybe a more recessed layout would make it less likely to be accidentally pressed without being harder to find without looking... But as-is I think those buttons would be accidentally pressed all the time in my pocket or on a surface. I'd rather have this than the Galaxy S4 though, so that's something.

Looks really like the S4 but without the bottom buttons. Wish they haven't put the buttons on the back because you can easily actuate them and turn your phone on and having the possibility of making random phone calls. The worse thing would be to put it in your pocket and the phone goes on ringer when its not suppose to and if it rings it is going to disrupt people.

EDIT: Some videos on the G2 features:
