hello im running a gtx 720 2gb vram i5 3.2 gh now i just put a ssd in and upgraded power supply but im looking for a really good gpu upgrade that i can play my 1080p games on ultra settings with out dropping below 60-75 fps i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as well as im looking to upgrade a monitor to something for the 1080p  area and i wanting to do this without breaking the bank any suggestions is welcomed thank you

What's the rest of your specs? Specific specs would be nice like the exact CPU, Powersupply, ect ect. ( use pcpartpicker.com if you want )

If breaking the bank is an issue maybe staying in the 700 Nvidia series is fine, otherwise do say a budget, and post specs please for more "accurate" answers.

well im looking some where around 350-475 us dollar range for a gpu

R9 390x for the GPU unless you can find a GTX 980 on sale for less the $500.

For the monitor honestly any 1080p IPS 60hz monitor will do.

If you get the 390x use the leftover money for a 1440p 60hz monitor. BenQ also offers some free sync monitors. I don't think they are IPS though,

gtx 970

Why for $400+ he can get a 390x which will beat a 970 in every benchmark.

I want to say a 390x or 970, for monitors I want to say an Asus VS238H-P or a Benq GL2460HM.
