Logitech MX Revolution Wireless Dropping/Stuttering

So I have an MX Revolution mouse from Logitech, similar to the MX Performance mouse. Recently the mouse has been stuttering, or it makes the cursor not move smoothly across the screen, despite the mouse being fully charged and the receiver not being blocked in any way. While this used to be a rare occurrence, it now happens every 10 minutes or so and that's really bad when you're playing CS or BF4. StePoint shows no issues, and the mouse pad I'm using has been working fine (generic one I got from work). What's the issue? Should I just go back to a wired mouse? Any recommendations? Something with a lot of buttons to use as a numpad as my KB is TKL. Thanks!

I have a similar logitech mouse, I usually turn it off, take out the battery, give the sensor a rub and then put the battery back in. Try that.

does it use batteries?? is anything interferaing with the connection? drivers?

It has built in batteries, it has a charging dock. SetPoint says it's at 90%.

Again, no batteries. Or at least ones I can take out.

Maybe contact logitech about it, see if they know what might be causing the problem.

^ This, and it also wouldn't hurt to contact Logitech support, they're very helpful!

Hmm... It said to move my receiver closer but it's only 2 ft away. It is behind my SG05, maybe I can put it in the fron USB 3.0 ports and see if it makes a difference at 1 ft. away?

Edit: Well at 1 foot away it defiinitely works. Maybe the receiver or the mouse is dying in general? I kind of don't mind having a wired mouse since I always forget to charge it anyway.
