Will This Still Work?

So basically I got an E8400 delivered to my house and one of the edges was bent. I did get a full refund but I want to know if this thing will still work. All of the gold contact points are still in the right place. The CPU fits into the socket perfectly fine. As far as I know, none of the circuitry on the PCB goes that far to the corner of the CPU... So... Will it work?

I don't see why it wouldn't work. Doesn't hurt to try it out.

yes. it probably will. as these are layers of matter. with pretty much nothing important on them. just squeeze it together.

You should be good, putting it in the socket might help flatten that out to. Processors are like Nokia's, they take a lot to f**** up. I'm actually surprised you got a refund but that is awesome none of the less :D

You should be fine using it. As long as nothing is broken on the PCB and there's no exposed copper, you should be fine.
