Hey guys,

I am looking at doing a build to achieve the following: Stream YouTube/Twitch, run XBMC/Kodi, torrenting machine (run 24/7), and some light gaming. I've never been down this alley of PC's so please if you have any advice it would be appreciated.

Here are the parts that I intend on using - http://pcpartpicker.com/p/7B36zy

Any advice would be appreciated!

Cheers.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/mFDB3C If you can extend th budget $100 get this. If you can't get a gtx 960.

Also WHY a $105 optical drive? WHY

Also do you have a HDD somewhere? If not you'd wanna get one of those and get rid of the SSD. A 1tb WD Blue will be good. A SSD is not needed unless it DOES NOT effect performance.

why a $100 optical drive?

lol xD Thought some one would mention this. Unfortunately it's the cheapest one I can buy from my local store.

Regarding the build you recommended, "unfortunately" I am not from the US so I cannot get good pricing like you guys do so the build you're recommending would be really expensive over here.

The SSD will just be a boot drive, I have a few external drives lying around I can just copy my stuff over to. Also have a spare WD 1TB Black that I can use.

Are 120GBs enough for you? O.o

My bad forgot to mention. The SSD will just be a boot drive, I have a few external drives lying around I can just copy my stuff over to. Also have a spare WD 1TB Black that I can use.

Thanks - Will have a look at the parts! - Quite pricey though.

Cut down on Optical drive, and get more storage - torrents 24/7? You're going to want storage. The WD Caviar Blue is cheap and good (1TB)

My bad forgot to mention. The SSD will just be a boot drive, I have a few external drives lying around I can just copy my stuff over to. Also have a spare WD 1TB Black that I can use.

Your going to have to pay just as much up front...

you have to wait a month or so for the Mail In Rebate

Why not get i5-4460? :(

The i3 is not a good candidate for gaming if that is your goal...
