900D because of the basement

But is the Blackhawk ultra good in a price to performance?

900D is a nice case once you get past the ...rather cheap-ish build quality. Fill er up with parts and it becomes solid.

Lol black hawk ultra. Id rather not use a case.

If you want superb airflow, the Fortress something from Silverstone will suit you well, same with the Antec 1100.

Lorekeeper is right don't spend so much on a case for that build. Arc midi r2 is on sale on amazon and is great in cooling and looks.

Case:NZXT Tempest 410 MOBO:Gigabyte 990fx UD3 CPU:FX 8320 @ 4.5ghz CPU-Cooler:NZXT Havik 140 GPU:MSI 7790 @ 1200mhz RAM:Patriot Viper 3 HDD:WD 1tb SSD:Kingston V300 PSU:RM750

neither, dont buy such an expensive case for a build like that its a complete waste of money...get a fractal design r4 or something...

I don't understand you, if he gets a good case now than he wont have to buy one in the future also the 900d will last him along time for many builds to come!

Keep in mind, that you know you'll be getting a quality good and service if you go with anything Corsair. One of the most reputable vendors out there, everything has its price. In my opinion, the Corsair 900D rules them all - it all depends what you're going to slap into that beast ;)

not to be a kill-joy, but the 900D would be a monstrous over-buy for that build, unless

there is going to be budget money for a custom loop. and at that a single 360x 60 will

be far enough to cool the CPU/GPU overclocked. 2x 240x 60 in a fractal arc midi will

do the job, easy enough and have bucks to support it by $250 over the 900D or more

if found on sale ($50 shipped).

one thing i found is that owning a big case and then having to sell it later is a royal PITA

as the shipping costs are nuts.. and you loose so much usually because it is BIG.

keep it simple principal always seems to work and cost less using it.
