Im putting one in my side build that I havent listed

You are spending way to much on a Mobo.

The SSD just get a 850 Evo for $110 less.

Get a EVGA G2 or GS

The .h100i many people complain about its sound. Get a NZXT x41 Kraken. Yes it's a 140mm. It performs nearly the same as the h100i and will be quieter

i7-6700k  Cooling: Deepcool Captain 240EX White GPU: GTX 1080Ti EVGA FTW3 Mobo: AsRock Z170 Extreme4 Case: Phanteks P400s TG Special Black/White PSU: EVGA 850w GQ Ram: 64GB (3200Mhz 16x4 Corsair Vengeance RGB) Storage 1x 1TB Seagate Barracuda 240GBSandisk SSDPlus, 480GB OCZ Trion 150, 1TB Crucial NVMe

If you're just getting an H100i, there's absolutely no need for a 900D; It's just going to look empty. You're also spending a lot of money in some places, more than you probably should.

Gaming, graphic design, video rendering and recording, college work

X99 supports quad channel memory operation. An optimal memory kit would therefore have four memory modules, not two. G.Skill Value 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR4-2400 Memory or G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR4-2400 Memory, for example.

If one is going to take full advantage of the oc features of the motherboard, a much better cpu cooler would help. Personally I would not put so much of the budget into the motherboard. Asus X99-A/USB 3.1, Asus X99-PRO/USB 3.1, or MSI X99A GAMING 7 would be good choices. Put the savings into a better cpu cooler like NZXT Kraken X61.

A 4-lane M.2 drive like Samsung SM951 256GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive offers significantly better performance than the Intel 730 or any other SATA III drive.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
