You don't NEED free sync. Plus 75Hz is very good. You can tell a huge difference from 60-75 but the differ nce between 75- to say 120 isn't as noticeable.

I was looking at 144Hz ultrawides and I realized that I would need freesync to run that high of a framerate and my cards are not freesync compatible and they would not be able to run a constant 144Hz with most games. Any ideas on ultrawides that have around 100Hz. 

Acer Predator X34 is 100Hz I believe. Or 75, could be wrong.

You don't need it but I think not vsync, gsyncing or free sync looks terrible. It's not smooth, it's also got awful screen tearing 9/10 times.

well with for example rocket league I wont be able to get up to 144Hz constant with 2 Radeon HD 7950s and I am not going to buy a new graphics card just so you know

FreeSync doesn't give you a better or worse framerate.

 

And it's not like getting a lower frequency monitor will give you an advantage over a high refresh rate one.

Correct me if I am wrong, but there would be variable refresh rate issues without freesync
