Is this the one linus posted on his Instagram? I mean not exact same one but at least it works the same way?

I will like to try to flip my gpu around too is this gonna work?

I bought a cheap one just to test out whether it works or looks nice and appealing or not if this is a bad quality one I will get a good quality one after this.

but it does look hideous.

It looks like an IDE cable.

What is ide cable? I just find the one that looks most alike.

before SATA was the standard for data transfer in drives and readers, IDE was the thing. 

 

sometiems a single cable would connect to your motherbaord on one port, and have two drive/reader ports, and you'd have to configure one as master and one as slave to set up priority.

and by chances are i mean theres very littel chance of there being a reason it wouldnt. its just a ribbon cable extension of a port. 

got that nice biege-grey ribbon cable colour. <3  i wish i had a can of that as paint.

i always separated the indiviaual cables and sleeved them then re-connected them to the connectors. 

you could buy IDE cables pre-sleeved but it was actually a hobby of mine since it took me so long. (also usually it was rather stiff sleeving so it wasnt as easy to manage)

Don't know how to explain well in words but is like facing the fan side of gpu towards the window so I can see it. I'm having the strix dc3 to me that is one of the best design I will be glad to be able to look at it instead of the side led and heat pipe.

It's how we used to connect hard disks and pick up chicks in the 90's. It was pretty awesome.
