So I got some malware or a virus on my computer by downloading a mod for a game and now my computer is completely screwed up. Every way to control the computer has been messed up, the keyboards has been scrambled and I can't find a single one that types a letter, just F# keys. Also my mouses scrolling has been messed up, it only zooms in or out, it doesn't actually scroll. I've already run viper rescue software to delete the malware, but it didn't fix the computer. Also I can't find any helpful information on how to reset the settings. Can you please help me because this is a major problem and I can barely use my computer at all.

I would just reinstall OS. Completely.

Basic guide to CPU's!

If I said I were 14, you would call me a kid. If I say 70, you’ll entitle me too old. If I say 20 you say I’m inexperienced and if I say 40 than I'm too boring.

Reinstall the OS.

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

You could try a strong anti-virus that can be booted to directly from a usb drive, thus avoiding the OS entirely. My preference is Norton Power Eraser. Of course, you'll need access to another PC in order to get a hold of it.

Thank god, it looks like after using the Viper Rescue software to clean up the malware, windows update was able to fix all of the problems.

With issues like these I wouldn't recommend relying on Rescue software and Windows updates. I highly suggest re-installing your OS. You should be able to get Windows .isos somewhere (recently got a 7 one, in English) and use your key with it if you have an OEM and therefore no installation disc.

It might safe you a lot of trouble.
