Looking for a Chromebook

My laptop battery wont last a full day on a charge and I want one that can last through all of my classes.  Looking for something cheep to use for internet and writing papers so a Chromebook sounds nice, but I want to put money down on one that is worth having.  Anyone know of any good ones and how big the difference will be between 2gb and 4gb?  I don't know much about them and what they need to run well enough to be frustrating.  Will have Google Docs, Music, and Chrome running at the same time.

Looking around $200-300 but the budget is a bit flexible.
