Would you guys pick an FX6300 or Core i3 4170 for general gaming and specifically Fallout 4?

 

Looking to pair with a GTX960 or R9 380

I'd step up to an i5 like a 4590. The i3, though.

Also, I'd look for a 280x over a 960 and 380.

but between those two, i'd take the 6300 even if everyone says that it's a dead platform
