I have been having various problems with my internet lately. I have "TWC" and whenever I use my PC, especially in CSGo, my game disconnects and then my modem crashes and restarts. It has been like this since December and I am finally done with suffering like this. When i play comp, I have gotten bans and it gets annoying. Yesterday it restarted about 7 times. I can't enjoy my online games like this. Does anyone know what could be the issue? I don't think it's the router at all.

You say your modem crashes and restarts? Do you see it physically turning off? If it does, I really think the modem is the problem. Call TWC up to get a technician to come over to your place to have it checked and repaired or possibly replaced. Technical support for your internet is usually free with ISPs

Also before the technician comes try to ask neighbors with the same provider if they are having issues.

What it shows

if its your isp's modem: tell them the modem reboots more than is sensible, and supply them with a few weeks of timings when it reboots.(write down time every time it reboots)

if its your own modem: replace, and toss it out the window.

I see... Maybe just bring the modem in to the local ISP branch for replacement then?

I've never been charged for getting my modem replaced, I've had 2 of them die in the last 2 years with different ISPs and both of them were cool with it one company was there the next day replacing it and the other company was going to take 2 days but they told me if I knew anything about how the modem worked I could pick it up instantly at my local office and install it myself which I did.
