Hey, I am interested in upgrading my Pc and having a fun little project.  I don't have any specific field I want to improve performance in I just want an upgrade that best suits my rig.  This has nothing to do with how things are rated I just don't know how to explain it: say I have a rated 5 out of 20 Graphics card and a 10 out of 20 cpu, I would rather updrade my Graphics card than my Cpu to better balance I guess. I'm assuming that made no sense but Ima leave it in here anyways.

I don't know much about overclocking. If it is a good option for my setup please tell me and maybe recommend a place to learn how.

I was also thinking about water cooling my GPU if there was a good block for it available or maybe getting another GPU and putting it in crossfire.

CPU:

Intel Core i7-5820k CPU @ 3.30GHz

CPU Cooler:

Astek 550LC 120MM Watercooler

Ram:

Ballistix Sport DDR4 ram  4x 4G

GPU:

AMD Radeon R9 290x 4GB

Motherboard:

msi X99S SLI PLUS

Power Supply:

Cant specify but it is 800w High Power or something made by Sirtec

SSD:

256GB ADATA SP610 SATA III 6.0Gb/s SSD

Hard Drive:

2TB SATA III 6GB/s 7200RPM 64MB Cache 3.5" HD

or something like

TOSHIBA DT01ACA200 2TB 64MB Cache SATA 3 (6.0 Gb/S) 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

If I left anything critical out please let me know.

GPU or PSU depending on what exact PSU. Your CPU is fine... Overkill actually. What do you do? Gaming? Folding@home?

PSU I don't know... I need a model number and brand but for a GPU a 980ti would work nicely.

Definitely get a new PSU. From the quick research I've done about you're power supply, it looks like something cheap from china. Who knows, I could be wrong,

It depends on how much you can invest

if I were you, I would like to improve things with a new PSU .

you can also consider accessories like a mouse or a keyboard .

I think I'm good on peripherals. I have 2 60htz 1080p monitors, a CherryMX red K70, and a Logitech G502. But tell me if you think I could improve.

Sorry for the late response but I am still not sure what you are talking about.

Do you put those on the VRM things?

and when I search for images of a 290x they don't look very much like mine.

Mine has 2 fans on it and I am going to get a picture up of it as soon as possible.

I am not able to access my computer atm because I am not at home and on a laptop.

Thank you for the help
