R9 390 power supply

I was wondering if my current psu Lc power lc 5550 v2.2 will be enough to support my system? my system will have  8gb of ram, i5 4690k, gigabyte r9 390, 1 hdd, and a case with 4 fans included

Please get a higher quality PSU in that build. You don't want the highly unfortunate to happen to you, do you? Something from EVGA or XFX would be a great start.

ehhhh no thats not really a good idea. Get something good from EVGA or similar with 600w

Get something from EVGA if possible. A GS or G2 series please.

the psu (power supply) is the most important peice of hardware. you want to get the best one you can

That means nothing, 80+ rateings have nothing to do with quality of the PSU, it would be like saying you got a A+ in science so by default you should be amazing in gym.

couple that with a running 4690k and fans an every other part running and you will max out the psu

 

what i am saying is that it is better to have a a psu that runs your parts with ease, not one that is work as hard as it can to pump out its max constantly.

 

more than enough is better than not enough.

 

you do have to watch out for brands though and models some are trust worthy and others not so much.
