Most powerful gtx 960

So I want to build a system and I was dead set on an R9 270x.  After some research, I decided to go with a GTX 960 but after looking I saw that there are so many flipping models!  There is the ASUS turbo OC model with the white shroud and blower style cooler which I thought was the best model may not be.  So what is the most powerful GTX 960?

EVGA's model (I think they have 1 model of 960) or if you want to do some OC'ing yourself, I believe the Gigabyte cooler is very good.

But the differences in fps would be very minimal

There's not much difference between different brands... maybe max 2 FPS?

You should pick up the brand that fits your aestethic expectations, features and cooling solutions! (Ex. Windforce cooling on most Gigabyte's branded cards)

They all perform the same, you don't need that extra 1 FPS.

Just buy the one you think looks nice and will aesthetically fit in your case.

I went with the 960 because it has a nice price and hits that 200-upper 200 USD sweet spot for GPU's

Not much improvement, but the R9 380 is a really nice card for its price, and has 256 bits of memory, instead of 128 bits like the GTX 960.

So then what about the 780 because they are a lot more expensive but they can be 40 - 50 USD cheaper on ebay.

Gigabyte G1 GPUs seem to be doing better than other brands, but as said earlier, very little performance gain..

i would definitely pick R9 380 over Gtx 960, as it is more powerful, gives better FPS and has an actual 4GB DDR5 rather than, 3.5GB on 960 coupled with a slow(ddr3) 512mb Vram!!

now the Gtx 780 comes in comparison... well, its more powerful than any of the GPUs mentioned above... you should pick this!!!
