R9 390 or the GTX970, one of these cards should do you good.

My personal pick would be one of Sapphire's 390's.

R9-390X.  Pick your variant accordingly.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

I'd go with the 970 honestly...

GPUBoss is shit. Never use it. The R9 390X is roughly equal to the GTX 980 soo... you're wrong.

Lol... What am I wrong about? I never stated anything about the 970 being better than the R9 390X.. I just said I'd rather use the 970 that's it.. Stop being a lil cry baby and getting ur panties in a bunch.

GPUBoss is shit by your opinion but I use it to look @ card specs for a quick glance and if I feel like anythings off or wrong I'll go check the cards manually by visiting the manufactures website or looking and comparing via Newegg. Don't be a douche nozzle.

Edit: I WILL say I've read comments about how GPUBoss and CPUBoss don't have correct benchmark scores n such but I don't go to the site for the benchmarks.. I just like to see Core Clocks and such. I can always look elsewhere for benchmarks or just do them myself.

Firstly, you are pretty much admitting to being an Nvidia fanboy. Secondly, use GPUBoss for specs, that is fine, but don't list it as a reason to get one or the other up unless comparing two cards of the same generation and architecture.

I was linking them for the OP so he could look @ the cards and see the differences specs wise instead of going 'n looking the cards up individually or w/e and as far as me saying I'd go with the 970 that's purely my opinion.

As far as being an Nvidia Fanboy.. surely not. I've had both AMD & Intel / ATI & Nvidia.

The reason why I choose the 970 is because it's cheaper and will do just fine on pretty much all games on the market today. Sure the R9 390X is only like $100 more or w/e but why spend that $100 on a card that'd not even really gonna be used to it's full potential.. idk any game that needs 8 GB of video memory lol.

As for the 290X it's same price wise an close in specs other than it having a higher bit-interface which again I feel like 256 is fine. I'm also OCD as well.. Feel like Intel & Nvidia should go together as AMD & ATI.

Comparing specs of different GPUs is pointless, unless same generation and architecture. There are so many specs that all do a bit, comparing them end on end is nigh on impossible. Also why the 970 when the r9 390 is the same price and has better performance.

I wasn't comparing the 390 though, sms1202 linked(or said) the R9 390X Strix

as far as comparing specs, I like to see what the coreclocks, memclock, bit-interface etc.. as far as architecture 'n such goes I personally don't find it to matter to me. If it's a newer card chances are it's gonna have newer / better architecture but again at the same time like unless ur hardcore elitist I just don't care really.. I look @ reviews.. look @ benchmarks or google and research.

as far as price another thing I hadn't even looked @ ATI cards I just picked the 970 and went with it not putting much thought into the newer ATI cards / price to performance.

Another thing that I let persuade me I'd say is abunch of my friends lately haven't been having the best of luck with ATI drivers but could just be their builds :shurgs:
