Water + ear cups

Go to solution Solved by Lays,

ok,but does leatherette risk getting damaged if put quickly underwater?

No, its fine to rinse them off with a tiny bit of dish soap & water on a towel of cloth.

Just stay away from things like alcohol wipes, it will probably dry up the leatherette

If you live near an auto store, you could go in and ask if they have wipes for fake leather, and use those as well.  Probably would only cost $5

Will the hyperx cloud cushions get destroyed if i clean them with water?

They are made mostly out of memory foam and leather (real leather).

I would use a mild detergent to clean with a damp towel and recondition the leather so it doesn't dry out or crack, mostly it's just the outside that gets a bit grimy.

usually washing leather isn't too great, a gentle hand wash will be fine though with soap not laundry detergent.

Also I'd recommend conditioning the leather afterwards.

Wipes? Baby wipes, or alochol wipes? Leather cleaner works well also

They aren't real leather, reviews say it is a "Leatherette" and they are also advertised as having "Leatherette" pads.

Damp cloth & a tiny bit of detergent gets my vote, or wet wipes would work too, make sure they don't have any alcohol in them.

Read the review, the guy said Linus was mistaken and mispoke.

 36 Hour Burn in Time.

• Used “Headphones” option without Virtual Surround for Imaging testing

• Used on-board motherboard audio (No external Amp/DAC)

• They're advertised to have LEATHERETTE Pads, not Genuine Leather. This is a mistake on Linus' part
