how hard would this be

so i found this video

of an "updated" TAM (twentieth anniversary mac). i know this isnt really an apple fourm but how hard would this be to put in a mac mini or intel nuc new screen and blu ray driver into basically a shell of the TAM?

thanks,

maybach123

Shouldnt be too hard. If your handy with a drill and screws.

Personally I don't see the point, but yeah, it's possible. Whether it is hard or not depends on the tools you have access to and your skill.

I'm pretty sure NUC will fit there with no problem, Mac Mini - eeeh probably, it's kinda hard to estimate the size of the TAM by the pictures. Hell, if you're really lazy you can go with ComputeStick (I/O is gonna be a pain though).

What do you mean by "media"? You can install something like XBMC on both of them and there will be no difference at all.

the original purpose for tam was to use for movies it even had a tv tuner in it. i want to use for the same purpose plus web surfing simple pc stuff. it will be a conversation piece for the most part.
