Whenever I bootup my PC it posts and shows the screen that says press delete to access BIOS but I press delete and it just continues onto Windows, this isn't a problem for now but if I have to access for some reason I can't, so how do I fix it.

What keyboard do you have? If you have a PS2 one, try that

Doesn't really work

I have a USB one and I had no problem entering BIOS before with this keyboard, I have an old PS2 keyboard which I'm not sure that works but I'll give it a try

Probably your keyboard are switching off after restart, try to restart PC and straightaway plug off the keyboard, but be ready to plug in it back at the same time you see the screen asking to press del buton, and smash delete then.. yes you understood, you have only about 2~ sec to do the thing :D but you can try several times, at least it helped me ;)

Ahh, it always works for me with mine. Could just depends on the mobo of course though.

I came across this after sorting someone's PC out that had the same problem.

He has a Gigabyte B85-HD3 and I couldnt access the BIOS using the delete key. I had to reset the BIOS by bridging two pins that are on the motherboard. Although I don't really remember what it's called.

Just my two cents. Good luck with it!

they are called ''jumpers'' and what this do is that it reset the BIOS to default optimised settings.

OP: if reseting the BIOS by removing the battery or shorting the jumpers does not work your best bet is to find an OLD PS2 keyboard and stomp the DEL key until youre in there...THEN what you want to find is the setting CALLED: LEGACY USB SUPPORT ON BOOT or something similar and THEN your usb keyboard should work on boot...this is most likely the remaining of an old ass UEFI written BEFORE USB and all that good stuff...AKA a gigabyte BIOS?! am i right?

I just had this problem this morning. What I did was take the mobo battery out, wait 10-15 mins, put it back and voila, the cmos is reset, and everything go back to normal.
