I'm really, really confused...

Hello!

I got my Lenovo k450e  without really understanding how much integrated graphics, well, suck for gaming. I've been looking to upgrade to a dedicated video card and am looking at the GTX 750ti since I'm really not looking to play extremely graphically demanding games (only TF2, CS:GO, maybe a little Minecraft here and there) but I want a strong card for the money. I know that I need to get a new power supply (current one is 280w, not even sure how it runs .-.). I've looked at multiple threads on multiple websites (yes, I've read those pinned threads in this forum) so I have an idea of how much wattage I need, but I'm still really confused because on what kind of power supply I need. It's really confusing to see all of this 12V and 80+ rated stuff as someone who really doesn't know all that much about computers. I'd really appreciate it if some could find a good budget power supply that fits my needs. It should be under $100 preferably, because my parents are mostly going to have to pay for it and I can't come to them asking for a $200 power supply and a $120 video card. My specs are i7 4690, GTX 750ti, 16 GB RAM, and 2 TB hard drive. Please don't rip me for being stupid when it comes to power supplies and things like that .-.

TL;DR: I need a new power supply but am confused on what to get with an i7 4690, GTX 750ti, 16 GB RAM, and 2 TB hard drive.

Thanks,

Traye

The PSU you currently have is usually already enough to power a 750Ti. But I wouldn't trust that thing in the long run.

One PSU that always gets recommended is the EVGA B series.

It's really cheap, but well build for the price and offers everything you need as an entry level builder.
Also EVGA's customer support is really good and you get a 3year warranty. So you're definitly on the safe side.

Thanks for the speedy response guys! I believe I'm going to go with the EVGA 500B (unless anyone else has a better idea .-.)
