SmartTV's are pretty terrible. Like others above have said, get a decent monitor with a Chromecast.

How are you supposed to watch live TV with a monitor

Google tvs are great tho 

Yes, AndroidTV seems good, I'm talking about those Samsung SmartTV's that run some gaudy "OS" that's painfully sluggish.

I have not gotten a single helpful answer.

It needs to be able to watch live TV and Netflix.

Not to be used with a PC.

Needs to be simple, for sisters dorm
