Mistakes Were Made.

So I've slightly bent a pin on my LGA 775 mother board, so now 1 of the pins is like 3/5 of a millimeter more to the right. Will it still work or is this motherboard fucked, because I was thinking of bringing this back to Canada and building a cheap computer just for fun.

use a small needle or blade and bring it back in line with the other pins

Sure it might still work, but that pin has to be bent back exactly to the position it was in before. If it's not exact, do not install a CPU.

you can use a credit card to straightening it look up how

instead of pins the should use small round mounds

use a small needle or blade and bring it back in line with the other pins

this is what i have done and works well..be careful not to use too much force to bend it the other way
