Honestly from what I've seen, their network diagram isn't that complicated.

The have Fibre to the Internet, and their LAN is basically just two bonded switches. Some of those ports are 20Gb, and the connection to their storage server is 20Gb. Those switches are for all devices on their network, including wireless clients through the APs.

The camera/security server appears to be on its own VLAN with a separate switch to manage the IP cameras.

Other than that.. it's a really simple setup.. It's not a big enough network for it to be overly complicated.

I wouldn't expect a complicated diagram from such a small company however this doesn't make things any less interesting. I'd still want to see the diagram.

I mean.. that's the thing. I could literally find a generic network diagram, and modify it a tiny bit -- without any more knowledge of their network configuration than what I've seen in their videos... and it'd be pretty accurate.

I can see why people would find it interesting, though. I guess I've just worked with/seen/designed bigger networks, so this stuff is just way too simple for me. Not trying to sound snobbish, it's just the truth.

I now question your network geekdom if you are not excited for all network diagrams xD

Reality show - ish

Not really. They've been vlogging the new office thing because that's all they could do while they moved in. They obviously can't do their regularly scheduled content without their sets built. I think they've been getting back to normal now.

There was talk of a firewall from linus in a post a while back. Of course there's a firewall! It would be moronic to not have one. I know security is no joke, but give the guy a little credit.
