Who uses AMD Gaming Evolved?

Go to solution Solved by Killervolt,

Ok so OBS and Afterburner, can they record 1080p 60fps? any games/desktop? how much FPS hit?

Depends on your setting. Yes they can both record 1080p60. I used to use OBS, it's alright but I found it a little buggy . . . Maybe they've fixed it. I tried MSI but it didn't work for me. OBS gave me a 5-10 fps hit but I record in 720p30. OBS has desktop record option, I think afterburner runs off DX11 so it can only run games (with no mantle . . . I found out the hard way with DxTory).

AMD Gaming Evolved by raptr

I can't find up-to-date information on this product

Things I want to know is what exactly can it record; desktop? all games? some games? emulators? something in between?

How does it affect fps while recording?

Any other thoughts you may have would be great

I ask this because I'm not sure if going with AMD will be worth it since I've seen some poor (but old) reviews for raptr so far

Shadowplay looks perfect for me but I'd rather go with AMD card

No one uses AMD evolved.

It is just Bloatware! It's like ask and Ask toolbar, gets installed when you forget to un-tick it!

Well this does have to do with GPU's, so it is fine where it is (I Guess)

So what's the best option for recording on AMD?

Well thats a blatant lie, I have used it to record CSGO @ 4K with my Fury X and it works perfectly even though the app UI doesn't scale with 4K so everything looks stupid lol
