What's the rest of you specs. I'd get a 390 unless youve got a Gsync monitor.

All these AMD fanboys, NVIDIA has features that some find very important. Like heat.

I'd go with the 970 as it more up to date. Even though the 780Ti might perform a bit better in some scenarios, it's better to have newer components.

no the r9 390 performs slightly faster and has 8GB of vram but of course if heat is a big concern and power draw then go with the 970

recommending a gpu that delivers a better value is not fanboyism

I have a msi z-97 krait, 4690k, 16gb g skill sniper with a flexible power supply. Probably going to go with a GTX as I have had a few and trust them tbh

ok then go with the 970 because from what ive heard the last generation nvidia cards are being neglected in driver optimization also just a little warning the 970 only has 3.5GB of vram at full speed but most games at 1080p should be fine just dont go too crazy on the skyrim mods

DONT GO FOR A 780ti IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A 970 IN MIND!!!! You get so much performance from the 970 over the 780ti, plus the 780ti only has 3Gbs of GDDR5 and the 970 4Gbs.  :P  :P  :P

Pls dont make that mistake... Is like buying an apple watch at release...
